Acceptable Use Policy

Planbrand.com Ltd Version 1.0 — effective 7 September 2026

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It exists because Planbrand can send email and publish websites, and both can be abused in ways that damage other people and the deliverability of every customer we have.

Use Planbrand for lawful business purposes. Do not use it to harm people, deceive them, or break the law.

  • Anything unlawful, or that promotes unlawful activity.
  • Material that infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark or other rights — including brand assets and photography you do not have a licence for.
  • Content that is defamatory, harassing, or that incites violence or hatred against people on the basis of a protected characteristic.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any child sexual abuse material. This is reported to law enforcement immediately and without notice to you.
  • Malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to steal credentials or payment details.
  • Deliberately false claims about who you are — impersonating another business, cloning a real company's site, or fabricating reviews, certifications or endorsements.

Planbrand can send campaigns from your own mailbox. Under PECR and UK GDPR that is your legal responsibility, not ours, and misuse damages every other customer's deliverability.

You must:

  • Have a lawful basis for every message — consent, or the soft opt-in for your own existing customers about similar products.
  • Be able to show where each contact came from and when.
  • Identify yourself clearly, and include a working unsubscribe in every marketing email.
  • Honour unsubscribes promptly and permanently.

You must not:

  • Send to purchased, scraped, rented or otherwise harvested lists. This is the single fastest way to have your account suspended.
  • Disguise the sender, forge headers, or use a misleading subject line.
  • Continue mailing an address after it has hard-bounced or unsubscribed.
  • Use Planbrand to send on behalf of a third party whose list practices you have not verified.

Do not:

  • Attempt to access another customer's workspace, data or account.
  • Probe, scan or test the security of the platform without our written permission — except to report a vulnerability in good faith under the terms in the Security Overview, which we welcome.
  • Overload the platform deliberately, or circumvent rate limits, quotas or plan limits.
  • Reverse engineer the software, or resell access to it as your own product without a written agreement with us.
  • Use automated means to extract data at a scale the product's own export features are not intended to serve.

Proportionate to what happened:

  1. We contact you — for most issues, which are honest mistakes, this is where it ends.
  2. We suspend the specific capability — sending, say, while the rest keeps working.
  3. We suspend the account, with an explanation and a route to appeal.
  4. We terminate, for severe or repeated breach.

For illegal content, an active phishing page, or anything causing immediate harm, we skip straight to suspension and explain afterwards. We will always tell you what triggered it.

If a site or email sent through Planbrand is abusing this policy, email info@planbrand.com with "Abuse" in the subject. Include the URL or a copy of the message with full headers. We acknowledge within 2 working days.
